When we gather, it is to make a Joyful Noise!

Thanks to:

 RI Council for the Humanities

"My sincere gratitude is extended to the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities for seeing the potential of an exploration of this nature and for supporting the effort to bring the 'Walking In Light' project to fruition."

 Paul Daglieri

Many thanks go to the kind people who allowed me to be a part of their experience and to capture the beauty of their demonstration of their love of God. Although each photograph is a candid and un-staged shot, the individuals depicted were all very aware that a photographer was present and actively shooting. Very personal moments were graciously shared.

Special appreciation is offered to Pastor Sandra Miller, Apostle Robert Robinson, Chief Apostle Lionel Brown, Jr., Bishop Beatrice Brooks and Bishop Dwight Dove. Their kindness made possible an openess that led to ease. All were interviewed at length and the accompanying essays were derived from those in-depth conversations.
